TerraPro® is a patented composition of calcium silicate that complies with GRAS food additive regulations found in 21CFR 182:2729. The source of this unique calcium silicate contains very low-level metals and no dioxin. Its formation in volcanic ash is unusual in that calcium rich fresh water percolated through the formation for more than thirteen (13) million years. This allowed the calcium to replace toxic metals usually found in volcanic ash. Additionally, the calcium is located between the silicate plates in the clay structure.
